The Box Canon line was originally installed in the 1920’s and has been repaired several times since. In May of this year a collapsed portion of the line was discovered. The City of Ouray Public Works crew installed a temporary line. The temporary fix is functioning but it is becoming more difficult to maintain hot water temperatures in the pool with the changing season and fewer daylight hours.
